Album Notes & Community Reviews
Incorporating subtle progressive metal complexities into their freezing, misanthropic core, 'Ylem' finds the German black metal act at their most mature and dynamic. The record balances sweeping, melancholic guitar melodies with punishing blast beats and a pristine, crushing studio mix.
