Album Notes & Community Reviews

Before defining the raw, lo-fi sound of Norwegian black metal, Darkthrone released 'Soulside Journey', their sole pure death metal album. Featuring complex, highly technical riffing and an ominous, atmospheric production, the record serves as a dark and cold exploration of occult themes.
