Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in a college chapel, this legendary performance bristles with an unexpectedly fierce, wildly propulsive intensity that heavily defied the typically reserved West Coast stereotype. The completely uninhibited improvisations and deeply complex counterpoint achieved a breathtaking, almost telepathic level of musical communication.
