Album Notes & Community Reviews

Inspired by a lengthy, State Department-sponsored tour across Europe and the Middle East, this concept album translates foreign traditional melodies into a polished West Coast jazz framework. The rhythmic innovations and exotic scales utilized here served as a direct precursor to the group's legendary odd-meter experiments.
