Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Dave Dudley Sings Six Days on the Road' was released on Golden Wing, the label Dudley founded with insurance money from a 1960 car accident. Its title song, written by Earl Green and Carl 'Peanut' Montgomery from Montgomery's weekly Alabama to Pittsburgh trucking run, established Dudley as the voice of truck-driving country.
