Album Notes & Community Reviews

Approaching his eightieth birthday, the legendary folk-rock icon delivers a remarkably pristine, elegantly produced late-career highlight. Collaborating heavily with his son James Raymond, 'For Free' features lush, jazz-inflected soft rock instrumentation and Crosby's miraculously preserved, pristine vocal harmonies. The record serves as a deeply reflective, warmly nostalgic testament to his enduring musical legacy.
