'Gwotet' documents David Murray's second album with the Gwo-Ka Masters of Guadeloupe, recorded in October 2003 and built on the seven rhythms of the gwo-ka drum tradition. Tenor saxophonist Pharoah Sanders guests, and the program runs from the title piece through 'Ouagadougou' and 'Djolla Feeling'.
