Album Notes & Community Reviews

Deafheaven's debut album lays the groundwork for the 'blackgaze' sound they would later popularize. Blending the blast beats and shrieks of black metal with the shimmering guitars of shoegaze and post-rock, 'Roads to Judah' is an intense, emotional torrent. It captures a band fearlessly blurring genre lines.
