Album Notes & Community Reviews

Death Grips' debut mixtape 'Exmilitary' is a groundbreaking and abrasive fusion of hip-hop, industrial, and noise music. The album assaults the listener with a chaotic and blown-out production style, featuring frenzied drumming, unconventional samples, and MC Ride's aggressive, screamed vocals. It establishes the group's confrontational and paranoid aesthetic, creating an intense and challenging experience that pushes the boundaries of genre and explores themes of violence and existential suffering.
