The first half of 'The Powers That B', 'Niggas on the Moon' is perhaps Death Grips' most abstract and challenging release. The entire album is built around chopped-up samples of Björk's voice, creating a frenetic, glitchy backdrop for MC Ride's cryptic delivery. It is a disorienting, avant-garde experiment that pushed the boundaries of what hip-hop could be.
