Album Notes & Community Reviews

Widely considered one of the first true death metal records, 'Scream Bloody Gore' completely severed extreme metal from its thrash origins. Chuck Schuldiner's visceral, gore-obsessed lyricism is matched by unrelenting tempos, frantic guitar solos, and a raw, primitive aggression that birthed an entire musical movement.
