Album Notes & Community Reviews

The enormously creative vaporwave collective delivers a highly conceptual, incredibly dense exploration of early 2000s video game aesthetics and digital decay. 'DERELICT megatawā DERELICTメガタワー' heavily samples the soundtracks of forgotten role-playing games, stretching and distorting the familiar 8-bit melodies into profoundly atmospheric, deeply surreal ambient soundscapes. The album is a wonderfully quirky, highly mysterious, and remarkably soothing nostalgic journey.
