Album Notes & Community Reviews

The highly secretive, influential French black metal collective shifts their lyrical focus from orthodox satanism toward a terrifying examination of totalitarianism and political fanaticism. The instrumentation is typically labyrinthine, featuring dizzying polyrhythms, chaotic dissonant riffing, and a suffocating, dense production mix. It serves as an incredibly dense, challenging philosophical warning against the rise of global authoritarian movements.
