Album Notes & Community Reviews
Becoming the first member of The Beach Boys to release a solo album, Dennis Wilson crafted a startlingly gorgeous, deeply wounded masterpiece of blue-eyed soul. 'Pacific Ocean Blue' contrasts incredibly dense, choral-heavy art-pop production with Wilson's remarkably gravelly, melancholic vocal delivery, offering a wonderfully aquatic, bittersweet meditation on romantic longing.
