Album Notes & Community Reviews

Before achieving acclaim with Grizzly Bear, Daniel Rossen collaborated with Fred Nicolaus on this charmingly eccentric bedroom-pop project. The album merges delicate, acoustic indie-folk songwriting with bizarre plunderphonics, trip-hop drum breaks, and eclectic electronic samples. The surreal, highly experimental production perfectly captures the idiosyncratic aesthetic of early 2000s DIY indietronica.
