Biography
Department of Eagles is the New York duo of Daniel Rossen and Fred Nicolaus, formed as New York University roommates in 2000. After an early sample-based debut, they made 'In Ear Park' in 2008, an indie folk album recorded in a Brooklyn church and released on #4AD#, followed by the collection 'Archive 2003–2006'. Rossen also sings and plays guitar in *Grizzly Bear*.
