Recorded at the Fillmore East over two nights in 1970, this double album was issued posthumously after the short-lived supergroup had disintegrated due to substance abuse issues. Without Duane Allman present, the spotlight falls entirely on Eric Clapton, whose extended, fiercely expressive solos showcase some of the most tortured and brilliant blues playing of his career.
