Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reforming after a brief hiatus, the Descendents significantly tightened their aggressive hardcore roots into fiercely catchy, melodic pop-punk. The album balances incredibly fast, hyper-energetic guitar riffs with Milo Aukerman鈥檚 highly emotive, angsty vocal delivery regarding teenage heartbreak, sexual frustration, and suburban rebellion. 'I Don't Want to Grow Up' is a remarkably tight, humorous, and foundational blueprint for 90s skate punk.
