Album Notes & Community Reviews
Constructed as a deeply personal and meditative side-project, 'The Hummer' showcases Devin Townsend stripping away his usual metallic bombast entirely. The record features minimalist drone textures, low-frequency oscillations, and subtle spoken-word samples designed to induce a tranquil, contemplative state. It remains a fascinating outlier in the prolific Canadian musician's otherwise high-octane discography.
