Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating from Texas to San Francisco, the politically radical punk outfit recorded their definitive masterpiece for SST Records. Frontman Gary Floyd delivers unapologetically queer, fiercely anti-police lyricism over a unique, swaggering blend of blues-rock and blistering hardcore. The album remains a monumentally important, uncompromising document of the early 1980s American underground.
