Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the vibrant Los Angeles underground, the trio's major-label debut champions the foundational elements of traditional hip-hop culture. 'The Platform' relies heavily on DJ Babu's virtuosic turntablism alongside dusty, sample-heavy boom-bap production provided by The Alchemist and Evidence. The album successfully bridged the gap between raw, backpack rap aesthetics and widespread commercial viability.
