Biography
Los Angeles hip hop trio of MCs Evidence and Rakaa with DJ and producer DJ Babu, formed in 1992 and long a fixture of the underground. Dilated Peoples defend an old school formula of battle rhymes, turntablism and soul-sampling production across 'The Platform' (2000), 'Expansion Team' (2001), 'Neighborhood Watch' (2004) and '20/20' (2006), and returned after a run of solo records with 'Directors of Photography' (2014) on #Rhymesayers Entertainment#. Producers and guests such as *The Alchemist* and *Kanye West* appear on their records, but the group has always been these three members only.
