Dave Longstreth directs a sprawling, highly ambitious concept album loosely examining a surreal, post-9/11 America through the metaphorical lens of musician Don Henley. The dizzying arrangements rely heavily on erratic orchestral samples, intricate choral vocal harmonies, and complex micro-rhythms, defying nearly all conventional pop structures.
