Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating almost entirely as a solo vehicle for David Longstreth during his time at Yale University, this bizarre debut laid the foundation for the group's highly cerebral aesthetic. The challenging, lo-fi arrangements combine ragged indie-rock guitars with erratic vocal melodies and bewildering shifts in structure.
