Album Notes & Community Reviews

Essentially inventing the d-beat subgenre, Discharge's debut full-length is a relentless, punishing barrage of extreme punk rock aggression. The album is characterized by heavily distorted, metallic guitar riffs and Cal's repetitive, violently shouted lyrics decrying warfare and government oppression. It is a remarkably heavy, apocalyptic, and raw cornerstone of global hardcore.
