Dizzy and Strings

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The foundational architect of bebop trumpet immerses his famously fiery, high-register acrobatics into lush, highly sophisticated orchestral string arrangements. The sweeping, cinematic backdrops force an unusually lyrical, deeply romantic approach from the soloist, proving his immense versatility beyond the frantic, small-group bop format.
