Album Notes & Community Reviews

'For the Love of the Beat' is a DJ mix by DJ Icey, following his studio album 'Different Day' and continuing the Florida breaks sound he had pioneered from Orlando since the early 1990s. Built on energetic, bass-heavy breakbeat rhythms and percussive dancefloor momentum, it documents the style formed during his residency at The Edge, the club that made Orlando a hub for breakbeat in the American South.
