Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Funky Breaks' is an early DJ mix by Orlando's DJ Icey, who had recently changed his stage name from DJ Icee under legal pressure from an ice cream company. The mix drew on the breakbeat sets from his residency at The Edge, the Orlando nightclub where he played from 1991 to 1996 and booked the Chemical Brothers' first United States show.
