Faster

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Faster' is a concept album by DJ Zinc built on a single device: each successive track raises the tempo, with the opener beginning at a crawl of roughly forty beats per minute. Sung in part by vocalist Angela Hunte, the record moves through two-step, breaks and drum and bass as the pace climbs, a bridge between his jungle past with the Ganja Kru and the genre-hopping productions that followed.
