Album Notes & Community Reviews

Helmed by guitarist Nick Didkovsky, the New York-based instrumental ensemble unleashed a relentlessly complex, brass-heavy assault. 'Armed Observation' expertly navigates wildly unpredictable time signatures, merging the angular dissonance of avant-garde jazz with punishing rock energy. The group's precision and frenetic pace established them as vital figures in the late-eighties Downtown experimental music scene.
