Biography
Doctor Nerve is an avant-rock ensemble from New York, formed in 1984 by guitarist-composer Nick Didkovsky. The octet plays his intricate, high-energy compositions, which blend metal, progressive rock and jazz and often use algorithmic software as a compositional tool. Long-serving members include drummer Leo Ciesa, bassist Greg Anderson, saxophonist Yves Duboin and bass clarinetist Michael Lytle. Their records for #Cuneiform Records#, notably 'Beta 14 Ok' and 'Ereia', are landmarks of American experimental rock.
