Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by guitarist Nick Didkovsky, the New York-based ensemble Doctor Nerve delivers a blistering, highly abrasive fusion of avant-garde jazz and heavy rock on 'Skin'. The album is characterized heavily by wildly unpredictable time signatures, tightly arranged horn sections, and incredibly aggressive, metallic guitar work. It serves as a fiercely complex landmark within the challenging brutal prog subgenre.
