Stepping out from his role in the avant-garde rock group King Missile, Stephen Tunney (under the moniker Dogbowl) delivered a wonderfully eccentric solo debut on the legendary Shimmy-Disc label. The album is a bizarre, deeply psychedelic conceptual rock opera driven by acoustic guitars and playful, surreal lyricism. Produced by Kramer, it embodies the chaotic, unhinged creativity of the late-80s New York underground.
