Biography

Dogbowl is Stephen Tunney, the New York singer and writer who founded *King Missile* before recording solo albums for #Shimmy Disc# — 'Titans on the Beach', 'Project Success' and 'Flan' — of surreal, folk-tinged underground pop. He later turned primarily to fiction, publishing the novel 'One Hundred Percent Lunar Boy', while his records retained a cult following. The Dogbowl records remain among the most distinctive releases of the Shimmy Disc catalogue.
