Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ditching some of the raw aggression of their debut, Doll by Doll embraces a sprawling, emotionally turbulent blend of post-punk and folk-rock on 'Gypsy Blood'. The album features Jackie Leven's incredibly passionate, Celtic-tinged vocal delivery over tense, atmospheric guitar arrangements. It survives as a dark, fiercely romantic cult classic of the British alternative scene.
