Album Notes & Community Reviews

Houston vocalist Don Toliver further refines his incredibly melodic, syrupy blend of trap and contemporary R&B on his sophomore studio release. 'Life of a DON' is characterized by its lush, heavily synthesized production and his distinctive, autotune-drenched vocal tone, providing a highly atmospheric soundtrack to high-fashion hedonism. The record firmly solidifies his position as a premier hook-writer and melodic architect within mainstream hip-hop.
