Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fueled heavily by his journey to India with The Beatles, Donovan's sixth album is a beautifully mellow, highly evocative exploration of transcendental folk-pop. 'The Hurdy Gurdy Man' is wonderfully peaceful and remarkably melodic, balancing beautifully pastoral, distinctly acoustic singer-songwriter intimacy with delightfully eclectic, warm psychedelic arrangements.
