Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operated entirely by Johan Ericson of Draconian, the Swedish solo project DOOM:VS delivered a profoundly bleak debut with 'Aeternum Vale'. The suffocating, ultra-heavy recording is firmly rooted in the funeral doom tradition, utilizing lethargic tempos, sorrowful guitar harmonies, and deep, guttural death metal vocals to convey immense despair.
