Album Notes & Community Reviews
After a grueling four-year recording process marked by rural isolation in a farmhouse studio, the Manchester trio delivered their final album before an extended eleven-year hiatus. The record tempers their stadium-ready, post-Britpop anthems with subtle electronic textures, Krautrock rhythms, and deep melancholia. It was highly praised as a sweeping, cinematic return to form for the veteran alternative rock group.
