Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the acrimonious departure of their founding guitarist, Dr. Feelgood introduced John 'Gypie' Mayo to the fold on 'Be Seeing You'. Produced by Nick Lowe, the album retains the group's gritty, high-octane British rhythm and blues while injecting a slightly more polished, power-pop sensibility. Mayo's fiery, inventive fretwork successfully revitalized the pub rock veterans during the height of the punk explosion.
