Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the final studio appearance of visionary guitarist Wilko Johnson with the band, 'Sneakin' Suspicion' encapsulates Dr. Feelgood's aggressive, rhythm-heavy pub rock. The sessions were famously fraught with internal friction, leading to Johnson's departure shortly after completion. Despite the tension, the record delivers a sharp, blues-drenched intensity that heavily anticipated the raw energy of punk.
