Habibti

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Utilizing a more somber and nocturnal production palette, 'Habibti' explores the intersections of melodic trap and high-gloss contemporary soul. The arrangements prioritize minor-key synthesizer pads and subtle Middle Eastern melodic motifs that reflect the thematic focus suggested by the title. The record conceptually investigates themes of regional loyalty and romantic vulnerability, delivered through a sophisticated and often understated vocal lens.
