A Thread, Silvered and Trembling

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Coil alumni constructs an overwhelmingly meditative, deeply funereal suite of dark electroacoustic ambient music and soaring electronic drones. Intertwining dense orchestral string samples with stark, minimalist synthesizer washes, the entirely instrumental soundscape feels incredibly ethereal and undeniably mysterious. It is a profoundly calm, masterful exploration of grief and sonic space.
