Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their sophomore release, Patterson Hood heavily refines his distinctive Southern gothic storytelling. The band tempers their rowdy alt-country with a series of vivid, often deeply melancholic narratives regarding working-class struggles, dysfunctional family histories, and regional folklore.
