Album Notes & Community Reviews

'National Coma' captures a jarring stylistic pivot for the Boston-based outfit, moving away from their celebrated dream pop origins into more fractured, abrasive indie rock territory. The songwriting is deliberately disjointed and raw, reflecting internal band turmoil and a conscious rejection of their previous aesthetic. The confrontational approach yielded a difficult, cult-classic artifact of nineties alternative volatility.
