Album Notes & Community Reviews

Korean-American rapper Tiger JK teamed with DJ Shine to form Drunken Tiger, and their debut 'Year of the Tiger' introduced their Korean hip hop through the singles 'I Want You' and 'Do You Know Hip-Hop', now counted as classics of the genre. The duo wrote their own lyrics, refused choreography and attacked mainstream K-pop norms, a stance that made the album controversial on release.
