Album Notes & Community Reviews
A quintessential foundation block of the American power pop movement, marrying the infectious, chiming melodies of the British Invasion with a distinctly modern, occasionally quirky studio approach. After experiencing an unexpected hit with the single 'I'm on Fire', the duo from Tulsa crafted a deeply melodic, heavily romantic debut LP. Despite lacking significant promotion upon release, the album's influence on the ensuing alternative pop landscape was immense.
