Biography
Tulsa power pop band the Dwight Twilley Band (1974–1978) paired Dwight Twilley with Phil Seymour and guitarist Bill Pitcock IV. Their hit single 'I'm on Fire' (1975) and the albums 'Sincerely' (1976) and 'Twilley Don't Mind' (1977), all chiming harmonies and economical songcraft, became defining documents of power pop despite the band's short, label-plagued career. Seymour died in 1993, aged 41.
