Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a pivotal transition, 'On the Border' saw the Eagles deliberately move away from their pure country-rock sound toward a harder, more radio-oriented rock aesthetic. Aided by the addition of guitarist Don Felder, the album features cleaner, more polished production and a stronger focus on the group's increasingly crisp, harmonic-driven songwriting.
