Biography

Eagles are an American country-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. Their albums 'Hotel California' and 'One of These Nights', released on #Asylum Records#, defined 1970s soft rock with close harmonies and meticulous studio craft. Timothy B. Schmit replaced Meisner in 1977. The band split in 1980, reunited in 1994, and continued after Frey's death in 2016 with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey joining the touring line-up, remaining one of the best-selling acts in recording history.
